Environmentally friendly through Tirol‘s mountains

The Alpbachtal Seenland tourism region focuses on electromobility, green meeting and muscle power. Tourism and mobility are closely linked. People move from the familiar environment to another destination that offers them leisure and recreation. More and more people are looking for them in a pristine and healthy natural landscape. That is why the Tyrolean Alpbachtal Lakeland tourism region has committed itself entirely to sustainability and, with many projects, has made a clear commitment to environmental protection. Examples include the Congress Center Alpbach, which is a showcase project in the Austrian congress landscape with the „Green Meeting“. The region is a climate-active partner and sets further signs with e-bike initiatives and the free regional bus for guests. Soon there will be e-gas stations in almost all villages of the tourism region. So that guests can also bounce silently through the region on two wheels, many measures are taken to expand the bike routes. The undisputed highlight for all cycling fans is the 2018 Cycling World Cup, in which the tourist region of Rattenberg is the starting point twice.
